Cerise Gay , MS, L/CPO, Licensed and Certified Prosthetist Orthotist, Residency Director for Pacific Medical
Cerise Gay earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Washington and a Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Baylor College of Medicine. During her Baylor residency program, she rotated through multiple practices across the United States.
Cerise has particular interests in cranial remolding, scoliosis care, pediatric care, and gait analysis. She enjoys cases in which objective data can be measured throughout a defined course of treatment and finds it rewarding to see patients complete treatment and graduate from their devices. She also enjoys analyzing gait and developing orthotic or prosthetic solutions intended to improve a patient’s walking pattern.
Before joining Pacific Medical, Cerise worked for a large national provider in Olympia, Washington, and Houston, Texas, where she participated in the Power Knee Study partnered with Össur. Her experience included serving as a clinic manager, residency mentor, and partnered pediatric specialist with UT physicians. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists, serves as Research Chair of the Craniofacial Society, an AAOP Scientific Society, and serves as Residency Director for Pacific Medical.
Cerise entered O&P after working as a researcher at the University of Washington. She enjoyed working with her hands and approaching problems as a researcher but wanted a career with more direct interaction with people. Orthotics and prosthetics provided a combination of those interests.
Outside of the clinic, Cerise enjoys walking to the park and library with her family, biking, hiking local trails, and learning to play the cello.

Nolan Scott, CFo, Certified Orthotic Fitter
Nolan Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Willamette University. His clinical work includes adult and pediatric orthotics, AFO/KAFO management, spinal orthotics, sports and ligament bracing, trauma and fracture orthotics, and upper-extremity orthotics. He especially enjoys meeting new amputees and helping them understand the pathway toward regaining mobility and returning to their lifestyles. His own experience receiving a spinal orthosis following a bodysurfing injury helped introduce him to the impact O&P can have on a patient’s recovery.
Outside of the clinic, Nolan operates a small farm with goats, chickens, and a llama. He also enjoys motorcycles, fishing, crabbing, and music festivals.
Megan Richards, Lead Office Administrator
Megan brings seven years of healthcare and medical administration experience to her role at Pacific Medical. Before entering healthcare, she worked in early childhood education. She joined Pacific Medical approximately seven years ago and has built her O&P experience within the organization.
Megan is passionate about making patients and their families feel welcomed and supported throughout their care. She particularly enjoys seeing the impact that orthotic and prosthetic devices can have, whether that means watching a new prosthetic patient stand or walk following an amputation or hearing how an orthosis has provided someone with needed relief.
Megan entered O&P while looking for something new after leaving the childcare field. What has kept her interested is the supportive environment she has found at Pacific Medical and the opportunity to see firsthand how the team’s work helps patients.
As a leader, Megan focuses on creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone who enters the clinic. She understands that navigating the healthcare system can be complicated and strives to greet people warmly, learn about them, and help make their experience as straightforward and pleasant as possible.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys walking her dog, Piper, knitting, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She also appreciates the occasional quiet day relaxing at home.
