Bryan Cooper, MS, L/CPO, Licensed and Certified Prosthetist Orthotist

Bryan Cooper earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portland and a Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his residency with Pacific Medical in Richland, Washington. His additional clinical training includes Ottobock C-Brace certification and certification in multiple microprocessor knee systems.

Bryan’s practice includes lower-extremity prosthetics and orthotics, with experience in transtibial, transfemoral, partial-foot, and partial hand/finger prosthetics, as well as microprocessor knees. His orthotic practice includes adult and pediatric lower-extremity orthotics, neurological orthotics, AFO/KAFO management, microprocessor and stance-control KAFOs, spinal orthotics, and sports/ligament bracing. He is particularly drawn to prosthetic care and enjoys working with active K3- and K4-level prosthetic patients as they progress toward returning to the activities they enjoy.

Pacific Medical is where Bryan began his O&P career after completing his master’s degree. He completed his residency with the company and has continued practicing with Pacific Medical since that time.

Bryan entered O&P because he wanted a career in which he could make a direct impact on people’s lives. He values the combination of creativity, technical skill, compassion, and individualized problem-solving involved in helping patients improve their mobility, independence, confidence, and quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, Bryan enjoys golf, biking, and spending time at the lake. He also enjoys basketball and football and follows Gonzaga and the Seattle Seahawks.

Nathan Zarate, CFo, Certified Orthotic Fitter

Nathan Zarate earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Portland State University and is a BOC Certified Orthotic Fitter. He has a particular interest in ligament knee orthoses and unloader bracing and enjoys helping patients regain function following surgery or while managing chronic conditions. Nathan strives to help patients feel confident throughout their recovery.

Outside of the clinic, Nathan enjoys spending time with his two children, watching Seattle Seahawks games, and playing golf. He frequently brings his clubs when traveling in case there is an opportunity for a round.

Serena Robertson, CFo, Certified Orthotic Fitter, Territory Manager

Serena Robertson earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Southern Oregon University and is an ABC Certified Orthotic Fitter. Her clinical experience includes lower-extremity, pediatric, spinal, sports, trauma, and upper-extremity orthotics. She is particularly passionate about osteoarthritis and ligament bracing and enjoys working with adolescents and athletes. Serena is the Territory Manager in our Spokane, Washington location.

Outside of the clinic, Serena enjoys soccer, hockey, skiing, backpacking, camping, paddleboarding, and traveling. She especially enjoys outdoor adventures with her significant other, daughter, and two Golden Retrievers.
