Bobby Smith, CO, Certified Orthotist, Cranial Remolding Specialist
Bobby Smith earned a Bachelor of Arts in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Saint Mary’s College. He also completed an Post Bachelor’s Orthotic Certificate Course at Rancho Los Amigos.
At Pacific Medical, Bobby specializes exclusively in cranial remolding orthoses, with a particular interest in postoperative cranial orthoses. He especially enjoys working with pediatric patients.
Bobby began his O&P career as a prosthetic technician, a role he held for three years before attending orthotic school. He then worked as a practitioner at CIRS for 16 years, from 1997 to 2013, before his career with Pacific Medical.
Bobby’s connection to orthotics began personally. He received custom orthotics while in high school and experienced firsthand how they improved his quality of life. That experience led him to want to provide the same type of benefit to others.
Outside of the clinic, Bobby enjoys golf, wakeboarding, waterskiing, ice and roller hockey, and hiking. He has been married to his wife, Sue, for 28 years and has two children, Drew and Steffi.
Hosana Fujioka, Orthotic Fitter / Orthotic Assistant
Hosana Fujioka is pursuing studies in International Business and Global Studies through the University of California. At Pacific Medical, she has developed a particular interest in cranial remolding orthoses and pediatric orthotics, especially working with babies and their families throughout the cranial remolding process. Her previous experience includes working with teens and youth through camps, tutoring, leadership programs, and volunteering with a foster care organization.
Outside of the clinic, Hosana enjoys thrifting, bouldering, reading, movies, watching sports, working with animals and dogs, and spending time with friends.
