Jason Tamalunas, CPO, Certified Prosthetist Orthotist

Jason Tamalunas earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Purdue University. He completed an orthotics certificate program at Northwestern and a prosthetics certificate program at the University of Hartford. His orthotics residency was completed at Toenges Orthotics and Prosthetics, and his prosthetics residency at American Limb. He continues to participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements and new treatment methods.

Jason provides care across a broad range of prosthetic and orthotic needs, including lower-extremity and partial hand/finger prosthetics, pediatric prosthetics, microprocessor knees, adult and pediatric orthotics, neurological orthotics, AFO/KAFO management, spinal and scoliosis orthotics, cranial remolding, sports and fracture bracing, and upper-extremity orthotics. He enjoys working with patients of different ages and backgrounds and values the variety of the profession.

Jason began his career at Toenges Orthotics and Prosthetics and worked in several settings throughout the Midwest before becoming a partner with Sheck and Siress, which operated 14 offices across the Chicago area. His experience included Chicago Shriners Children’s clinic and La Rabida Hospital Pediatric clinic. He later spent 15 years with Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. He has served as an orthotic residency director and spent four years on the board of the Midwest Chapter of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists.

Jason discovered O&P after a friend who managed the office at Toenges Orthotics and Prosthetics recommended that he explore the field. After touring the practice and meeting Buck Toenges, he was offered a pathway into the profession and was drawn to its hands-on combination of science and art.

Outside of the clinic, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and taking advantage of the Pacific Northwest. His interests include skiing, mountain biking, kite surfing, fly-fishing, camping, and spending time on the water.

    Clayton Cullen, Orthotic Fitter

Clayton Cullen’s clinical focus at Pacific Medical includes spinal orthotics. He entered the O&P profession during the COVID period while between jobs and was drawn to the opportunity to help people.

Outside of the clinic, Clayton enjoys traveling with his wife, particularly visiting National Parks and exploring Europe. He also enjoys hiking in Central Oregon and spending time with their two Black Labs.

He has a particular interest in spinal orthotics and working with active, high-functioning below-knee prosthetic patients. Justin joined Pacific Medical in 2008 after working in O&P fabrication and serving as a lead technician. Justin is the Territory manager in Bend, Oregon location.
