Nathaniel Hampson, CPO, Certified Prosthetist Orthotist, Practice Manager

Nathaniel Hampson earned a Bachelor of Science in Prosthetics & Orthotics from the University of Washington and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Ohio University. He completed residency training with Orthomerica/NovaCare in Eugene, Oregon, and reports multiple certifications across different areas of orthotic and prosthetic care.

Nathaniel’s practice spans lower-extremity prosthetics and a broad range of orthotic care. He has a particular interest in special-needs pediatric care and lower-extremity serial casting for contracture management in neurological conditions, cerebral palsy, and idiopathic toe walking. He works closely with pediatricians and pediatric physical therapists in Southern Oregon.

Nathaniel began his O&P career in 1992 with a large West Coast provider and established a private practice in Southern Oregon in 1995. After relocating to Florida, he spent 15 years with a large national provider in multiple leadership roles. He joined Pacific Medical in 2015, served as Director of Clinical Operations for five years, and currently oversees the Medford and Klamath Falls clinics while remaining involved in clinical care, mentorship, and practice leadership. His experience includes oversight of 13 clinics, clinician training in 3D scanning, lectures on lower-extremity orthotics, teaching in a Physical Therapist Assistant program, and presentations at the AOPA national meeting and to local school-district physical therapists.

Nathaniel began college as a pre-engineering major and later transitioned to pre-med before discovering that O&P offered the combination of engineering, medicine, and hands-on patient care he was seeking. After learning more about the University of Washington’s O&P program, he decided to pursue the profession.

Outside of the clinic, Nathaniel enjoys working out, playing pickleball, and playing keyboards and singing in a rock-and-roll band. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters at local lakes and rivers and skiing at Mt. Ashland.

Nathan Dunfee, MS, Board Eligible Prosthetist Orthotist

Nathan Dunfee earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science & Policy with a minor in Biophysics from the University of South Florida and a Master of Prosthetics and Orthotics from Northwestern University. He completed his prosthetic residency with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Long Beach and his orthotic residency with Pacific Medical in Medford and Klamath Falls.

Nathan values the variety within O&P and the challenge of finding an individualized solution for each patient. He enjoys collaborating across allied healthcare disciplines to develop treatment plans aligned with patient goals and particularly enjoys working with pediatric and geriatric populations.

Before joining Pacific Medical, Nathan worked for a small private practice in Tallahassee in a technician and CPO-assistant role and spent four years working part time in an O&P central fabrication facility while completing his undergraduate education. While at Northwestern, he coached powerlifting for the Special Olympics club, and his graduate-school research project was published in Edge Magazine.

Nathan discovered O&P while working at the private practice in Tallahassee. Within a few weeks, he knew he wanted to become a CPO and was drawn to the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, Nathan enjoys scuba diving, mountain biking, exploring nature, volunteering, staying active, and taking on new challenges.

Tasha Miles, Lead Office Administrator

Tasha brings approximately 20 years of healthcare and patient-care experience to her role at Pacific Medical. Before joining the company, she worked as a caregiver in both home-care and skilled nursing settings. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Southern Oregon University, where her studies included anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. Tasha has been with Pacific Medical for 12 years.

Tasha enjoys combining her healthcare background with organization, problem-solving, and direct interaction with patients and the clinical team. She strives to make each patient’s experience comfortable, organized, and positive and appreciates how O&P can improve mobility, independence, comfort, and quality of life.

Tasha initially joined Pacific Medical without knowing exactly where the opportunity would lead. Once she began working in O&P, she recognized how closely the profession connected with her previous healthcare experience and education. Being part of a process that can improve a person’s mobility and independence continues to make the work meaningful to her.

As a leader, Tasha enjoys being someone her team can rely on. She values understanding each team member’s individual strengths, helping solve problems, and stepping in wherever needed. Her leadership approach emphasizes patience, respect, communication, and empathy so patients and employees feel heard and supported.

Outside of work, Tasha’s family is an important part of her life, and she enjoys supporting her children in their sports and activities. She also enjoys camping, rafting, golfing, and spending time outdoors.
